Payments

In short Every payment in an app on Lia goes through Lia's own pay sheet. The price comes from Lia's records, never the app's page, and the app's server confirms each charge before it delivers. Developers earn a share of every sale.

Figure 12. A payment, from tapping Buy to the developer's share.

  1. Someone taps Buy in an app inside Lia.
  2. Lia's pay sheet opens over the app. It shows who is selling, the item, the price from Lia's records and the balance after.
  3. They confirm. The $LIA leaves their balance.
  4. The app's server confirms the charge with its secret key and delivers what was bought, or refunds it if something goes wrong.

Because the sheet belongs to Lia, an app can't show one price and charge another, and a person never types a card number or connects a wallet to pay.

The developer's share

When someone buys something in an app, the developer earns a share of the sale: 70% by default. Developers also get 50% of what the ads in their app earn.

Other ways $LIA moves

During the mining phase all of these happen inside Lia, on Lia's own records. $LIA payments in apps on chain are planned for Q1 2028, after the airdrop. See Mainnet, listing and governance.
